Hi saw this set on ebay. I know some of u have been looking for a set.

I checked them out but not sure if they are real. Aren't the tacticals all black? The rim images show white hummer lettering on them, while the whole picture of the h3 have them as black.

Anyone have an idea?

 

This are stickers you can buy to fill in the letters to make them any color you want.

 

They look genuine, and that's a great price at the moment!

 

The wheels that they show do not look like the ones on the Boulder Gray H3. They are more of a flat black, and the ones close up show a gloss black. I would say that they are not original.

 

They are original... I have a tactical and those are the wheels. They are a glossy black not flat. Anyones that is painted flat black or not genuine.

Thats the same set that is on my Hummer H3.

 

There up to 400 now. How much are these worth? I know they are hard to find.

 

The rims in the add are real. Only GM factory tactical rims are solid spoke. If you look at most "tactical" style black rims, the spoke is split in the center, or have the middle of each spoke missing. Split rims are usually still factory, but are powder coated after the fact to resemble the tactical version. Factory solid spoke tactical rims are mega rare. If you want that exact rim, there is only one manufacturer, and they are no longer being produced.

 

Another easy way to tell is if its glossy or not. Glossy is a good indication that they are stock. Do the caps on tac's have painted lettering? I thought they were all black. Here are my wheels they are powdered flat black unlike the factory which would be shinny.

 

These are a great value at $400. You're talking $100 per wheel here which rivals the cheapest aftermarket wheels you could pick-up. If I wasn't such a tightwad I'd buy these myself just to have spares in case something happened to the ones I already have on my Tactical.
