Well yesterday i went to pull my H1 out of the garage and everything was fine started it up and let it warm up for a couple minutes and when was driving out of garage the damn thing died and that was it. The trucks just cranks and cranks but noo start. So i checked the fuse box and noticed that the ALT IGN fuse inside the hood on driver side was blown so i repaced it and as soon as i tured the key it blew again. Does anyone know what this ALT IGN fuse is for??? if you do or have heard of this please email me at ........ JDMDC@AOL.COM thanks

 

ALT IGN fuse was the 'alternator exciter' but not so sure though. Also don't discount the possibility of a fuel pressure issue. A failing fuel pump could also be causing such 'no start' even if it is cranking.

 

mine does not say wait and the glow plugs are not working, is there a fuse for the glow plugs?

 

I would call Kascar...they are pretty good at telling you what your problem is over the phone..they have helped me several times...always right on the money..

 

PM Hummech on the forum. He can help you. Alos it helps to post the year and engine set up in your truck when asking for help. Many times knowing whether the truck is a turbo, NA or gas engine makes a difference.
