I'm looking at doing a CNG conversion on my 2007 H2. Not full conversion, just bi-fuel so I can switch back and forth between cng and plain ole gas.

I'm looking for the best kit out there for the money. Everyone says their kit is the best, but I've been unable to find 3rd party comparisons.

Has anyone done a cng conversion? Which kit did you go with, how's it worked for you? I'm looking at mycngguy.com or the versus kit.

Also, where did you mount the tank or tanks? I was considering a narrow long tank below the vehicle right behind each Nerf bar, but on further measuring the nerf bar mounts would make the tanks hang too low. I may just have to do one tank in the cargo area, but I hate to loose the cargo space.

It's looking like it might cost me about $3,000 turn key, which isn't bad. That should prove return on investment in savings in about 3yrs.

 

I will be watching this for updates as I find the CNG conversion very interesting.

I would go propane (US) or LPG (europe) and leave the natural gas alone.
There will be a noticeable power loss on nat gas. Not so much on the other ones if it is an LPI system
