Hummer Club Section
I'd have to agree with that;
making seperate club/regional rooms would just create more "clicks" and leave some people out. Think that is part of what's good about our site. We are all from all over and we all communicate with eachother. I mean what happens to the people that live in an area that doesn't have many people from here. I see Hummers all day here, but I only know of 2 anywhere near me that are on here.Just an example.
People tend to stay with their common bonds and I think geographical bonds will outweigh the Hummer bond. Just my opinion.

Have to plan for those. I'm thinking about going to Sedona this year if you want to drive down for that. Probably going to Borrega in April. Ron is the coordinator for both of those events. I think that is about all THCI has out West this year.
Times are changing. They are really going after the H2 and H3 owners. I think a deal was just cut where GM is going to start giving a one year THCI memebership with all new Hummers. latest issue of Azimuth even has a big article about how the other models are actively welcomed. A lot of the H1 owners I know own more than one. The universe of H1 owners can't be much bigger than about 6000 in the USA. Can't be all that successful if those are the real numbers so I think they have to do something different.
it'sbeen pretty poorly run in the past, and even when i was a member i think i only got 2 copies of Azimuth in a year. but the runs are few and far between in CA and i just never saw a point in renewing. my club also doesn't charge $400 to go on a run, even if you only want to do the run and not stay in the hotel they pick or go to the dinner. that, and the fact they want nothing to do with supporting local clubs makes it easy to just ignore them. they should follow the example of H.O.G., they support and even encourage local clubs - although i'm sure there a lot more harley owners than there are hummer owners . . . .
