How much does the Hummer engine share from the Colorado?
Ok, so I'm trying to bleed my brakes. I don't want to pay $150 to let someone else do what will take me an hour in my driveway to do.
I'd like to use the same rig I use on all my other vehicles - a Lowe's weed sprayer. However, my issue is that I'm having a very hard time finding a brake master cylinder cap to drill and tap with a fitting for the spray bottle. Does the Colorado share the same brake master cylinder? |
No. The Colorado has normal vacuum brakes. The H3 uses an ADVICS electric/hydraulic brake system with no reliance on engine vacuum. No vacuum booster means no drop in braking when engine rpm's are down.
The ADVICS system is computer controlled which gives the H3 the high-tech Traction Control, Stabili-Trac, and superior anti-lock systems as well. |
