How many windshields have you had?
 

I have an 08 Alpha with 48k on it, three windshields so far.

OEM---but 1 big star and 2 smaller cracks/chips

Same here.
Cracked right near the rear view mirror and one chip on passenger side.

Shattered,, last spring when something came off a garbage truck on the highway.

No body damage.

Replaced, so far so good for it thus far.

I came from a Jeep TJ. Front glass was pancake flat. One winshield a year minimum. I'v made it almost a year with the H3 on the same roads without a chip, so I'm thrilled this far....although I'm sure I just jinxed myself.

I have a 2006 H3, purchased in 2009. Last month I got my first crack in the windshield, and will now have to get a replacement. Is Safelite Autoglass a reputable company? Does anyone have recommendations?

Mine is chipped, pitted, and cracked. It is the same windshield from 2006. No point in replacing it since the city decides gravel works good on the icy roads here in Saskatchewan.

2008......6 windsheilds......84,000miles....all highway rocks!

Sorry to hear that! So what company do you go through, to get a new windshield installed?

My 08 just replaced by Safelite 3 weeks ago. No problems and good service. Piece of scrap off a scrap hauler flew out and shattered it.
