You would be lucky to get 150,000 miles out of a hummer. For anybody that is thinking about buying one of these pieces of crap head on over too Edmunds.com and check out the owners reviews. What will you find? Pages and pages of disgruntled Hummer owners that constantly have to fix everything from Electrical modules (600 dollars apiece that go out again even after being replaced),trim pieces falling off, rust issues etc etc. If this vehicle was such a hot item GM would not have sold it to the Chinese for a 3rd of the companies value. Must be awsome for you Toyota haters to have a place to go though where you all made the same mistake. I tried to talk some friends out of buying one and now they are dealing with most of the issues listed on Edmunds. The vehicle only has 20,000 miles. WAKE UP YOU PEOPLE ARE IN DENIAL. lol if you want to go serious four wheeling buy a Jeep Wrangler or a Toyota 4runner or Pickup. Yes I know about the recent Toyota recall but at least they will go 200 or 300 thousand miles. Lol if not go ahead and pi_ _ your money away. The Chinese will love you for it.

Look..his parents must have been out of the house and he got on the web...aww, ain't that cute?

In my best South Park impression (so you might be able to comprehend...)..."Oh! I'm sorry! I thought this wus Ahhmerica...!"

One question...do you frequent Yugo sites as well and tell them what a poor vehicle it was?

easysixonezero thinks to himself...I wonder if there are Yugo enthusiast sites?

anyone over 100,000 miles? I am trying to figure out what the lifespan is on the 6.0 engine if you take top notch care of it and run synthetic oil.

Any thoughts anyone?

I have 205,000 miles on a 2005 SUT. bought brand new with 90 miles on it in late 2005.

135,000 new tranny
180,000 new brakes,
204,000 new water pump

These are some of the major that have been replaced.

Problems happen on all vehicles and all brands.. I have been very happy for the most part with all of my H2's & Gm trucks & suburbans except for 1 (a 2008 suburban/lemon).. Other than that they have been great to me for the most part..

Also what many dont know or understand about some service measures can really boost longevity and economy of some expensive items.. ;) Jamie

How to Contact Competent GM Rep

Owning a 2003 H2, bought new and outfitted with every possible extra, was it too much to ask that the vehicle performs? After at least 35 rides on a Flatbed; more than half it's "life" being repaired; and now an accident where the brake system failed and accelerator stuck I am SICK OF GM'S GAMES.

The vehicle has about 84,000 miles and has gone in for service at every recommended increment. GM promised to repair the vehicle to it's original status, and kept it at a dealer for 6, yes, SIX months. In the end, they replaced one relatively "inexpensive" part and tried to justify a loaner H3 (for 1 month) as part of the "repair."

Ironically, the vehicle had been "repaired" and in 3 attempts never made it out of the dealers lot. You'd think they would take it for a test drive to make sure it can MOVE!

In just about 6 months after THAT supposed repair, the H2 has a brake system failure and stuck accelerator. I'm lucky I had just exited the high speed Turnpike and was on a much slower roadway. Yes, it did collide with another vehicle because even at 20-25 mph the only way it stopped was with a collision. The police who arrived on the scene and took the vehicle to an initial holding area, VERIFIED that this vehicle was flawed from the start.

GM, I am SICK of your games. To the dealership - the State Attorney General will be dealing with YOU.

The RIDICULOUS amount of repairs (new tranny at 50k?) ... almost EVERY single part in this vehicle is now NEW which came at a TREMENDOUS price.

Thankfully, the day the accelerator stuck and brake system failed, there were no injuries.

GM HAS to do the RIGHT thing. This vehicle needs REPLACED! The repairs done were not your run of the mill small things, but MAJOR issues. I bought an EXPENSIVE vehicle - is it too much to ask for one that works?

No Offense, but... Wow, you do seem rather unhappy.. 5 posts since 09 & everyone of them a complaint or bashing of the H2.

Regardless of whether legit or not. Sure some people unfortunately end up with a lemon.. However modifying & lifting vehicles can sometimes void warranties or aid in premature wear or failure of items. Especially if not done properly.. I know in one of your posts you mentioned you lifted it, but then complained of air ride problems..

Again If you are for real & not a hater, then I am not saying that you have not had problems legit or otherwise. However the overall tone sounds a bit suspect, thats all.. ;)

BTW, 7-8 years in and over 80k on it, I dont think GM is going to replace it at this point. ;) If you are that unhappy, maybe it would be best to just sell it & get something else that may make you happier.. :)
