Thanks in advance!
if your talking about the one that bolts over the little criss crossed grill good luck I had a hell of a timeand used a coat hanger to pull out to keep the little bracket tight to the oem grill and then tightened it up.
Thanks for the information - I have looked everywhere on the net and cannot find any info on the installation.Again, if anyone has any tips or tricks - I would greatly appreciate it.
I know I've been told that you just pull on it and it will come out. I was afraid of breaking it that way so I didn't do it. 2ZRescue (doesn't post here anymore) did it. I thinkimportkiller took his out also to put some lights in there. Check with him, he should be able to tell you how to take it out.
I have that same one, I used a magnetic pickup tool to lower the bracket down to my fingers. You have to have small fingers or just do what I did and jam your finger into one or two of the holes and once you get the bracket in postion quickly put the screw into it.
I did have to drill into the OEM grill on one side since the holes didn't line up exactly.

I DID IT!!! HERE is how!! Thanks Trey124 -but instead of a magnet I used DUCT TAPE. LOL Here is how you do it.
1) Take a foot long piece of duct tape (extra sticky and strong) and rip the one end in half about 3 inches down the middle. You will do this twice for both mount brackets.
2) Then, wrap a half of the 3 inch arounf the middle of the bracket and cut away the second half. You will only use 1/2 of the 3 inch part to wrap around the middle of each bracket.
3) Take the remaining 9 inches of tape and fold it in half. Now, you have a make shift fishing line of duct tape with the bracket dangling from the bottom. Again - do this for both sides.
4) Push away the left black plastic lower grill and feed the bracket behind and hold the rest of the tape in your hand. Once behind, pull the black mesh part back. Do this for the other side.
5) Now, you have the bracket behind and a half inch - 8 inch long piece of duct tape hanging out.
6) Use a piecee of duct tape to hold the chrome plat to the top of the bumper ( just to hold). 7) Then, thread in the outer of each side only a little bit to get it going. This will alow you to screw in the two inner screws.
8) Trey is corret - they don't line up exact - but take you time linnng up the screws to self thread with you fingers and you will be fine. Finally, tighten screws with the allen key and cut the top of the dcut tape with a razor! WORKS LIKE A CHAMP in less than 15 minutes! READY TO ROLL - Next ~ putting on my 33 shoes next!
