When they "SHAVE" door handles, it basically means they REMOVE thedoor handle and cut out the doorbucket. Then fill in the bucket with sheet metal or whatever and sand/paint to match the rest of thebody. Itproduces a SMOOTH CLEAN LINE. The doors themselves will then be fitted with remote control electronic actuators to allow the doors to open. Basically, it's a Street Rod/tuner thing. Looks pretty sweet though!!

Thanks for the lesson Hummbob. It does clean up the lines and makes a seriously unique mod. Still, I don't think I'm going to bid on it

 

Sweetie I'm sorry[sm=kissykissy.gif]..I was mind sending that I liked it a little to you, not in actual words ...Your beautiful mind is not lost..

 

I thought it was wood trim too, but if you look at the close up pics it is actually a bunch of their 3-D logos. It's kinda purpleish, I think it is supposed to look like those 3-d hologram things. It may be that paint that color changing paint. Pretty oogly I have to say. I like the rest of the cutom stuff though.

 

That's what we call "Flip-Flop" paint in the ATL ...
