HO alternators and HHO tech?
I'm an SP guy, i have large subs and the electrical demand on my vehicle is becoming annoying. All lights dim. I have read about Capacitor (sp), but they seem more like a band-aid then an answer. Has anyone installed an HO alternator? I'd ideally like to wire up dual HO alternators (most amps i could run) and 2 batteries seperate from the battery that starts my vehichle currently. What is the largest HO alternator i can run (in amps). The larget i've seen is 250 amps. I also had questions about "Hydro Cell System, Complete Kit" by Teaka toys. The only drawback I can tell is that it could/will rust my engine and exhaust system(s) quicker. How much faster will they rust, since the byproduct of the technology is water vapors? I've heard from personal friends that this technology (HHO) DOES in fact work, just not always as much as everyone thinks. I've also read/watched some interesting reports on HHO technology and that its a rip off... Any ideas or takes on the matter? I apologize for the long list. Thank you for taking a look into my matters.
Hey its a complete rip off- this is a hydrolysis system, problem is it takes more energy in than releases out (in combustible H2 and O2) Also, the H2 gas the system would produce is not dense enough to provide any extra 'fire power' if you will.
And the up keep for this i would imagine is very annoying: your gonna need to clean the cathode and possible the anode very often inorder to get any hydrolysis and you'll need to make sure theres a proper salt solution and that the platnium leads are not digreaded too.
However, i dont believe a system that gives off O2 and H2 would cause the engine (inside) to corrode any quicker namely since water is a natural product of combustion (i.e. hydrocarbons meet oxygen .. H + H + O , this is obviously not stoichiometric but you get it.)
