Hitch Recommendation 4 H3

Obviously my H3 Tactical came without a factory hitch.I was wonderingif anybody that has put an aftermarket hitch on could help me? Could someone help me withwhat they think is the best hitch that will hide under the H3's bumper? I'm also considering and probably will put a transmission cooler on my H3 because I trailer a boat that weighs about 3500 lbs.Has anyone put a cooler on there H3 to help with keeping the tranny cool during trailering? Is a cooler only really necessary for traveling long distances in the summer heat? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Hidden Hitch or Draw-tite, allegedly the same hitch anyway. You can get it about $130 w/ shipping from eBay or as CWO said from etrailer.com where you can get the wiring harness, etc. Looks like free shipping from them starts at $150.

Here are the needed parts for full OEM:

15816095 trailer weight distribution hitch platform.
88988703 inline to trailer harness black, 7-way connector.
15162416trailerrearwiringharnessreceptacle.
15596436 trailerrearwiringharnessreceptacle plate bolt, total of 4 required.
11561764reartowhookbracketbolt, total of two required.
11561075 rear bumper impact bar bolt, total of four required.
11517387rearbumperimpactbarbolt, total of two required.Hidden Hitch is a good choice too.The OEMhitch doesn't reduce rear departure angle and has a more durable finish. Hidden hitch is a good choice if you don't want to cut the bumper, want an easier installation, or think it's a better value.I like the OEM better but yourreally can't go wrong with either.

My tactical came with an OEM trailer. I like it, it hides under there pretty well. We have OEM's on both of them. I won't buy a truck without one.

I would go OEM whatever the cost. Then go to your local "Wal-Mart" and get the Reece receiver bar, ball, and lock in a kit for $25.00. Can't beat it, cause most locks are $15.00.

I got the Draw-tite, and it fit great. Was a 5 min install. Only part of the hitch you see is the receiver itself. There are some pics in the frequently asked questions thread. That;'s what helped me make my decision.
