Default HIDs for headlights and foglights

Hey guys! I'm a newbie here in the site. I own a 07 h3 w/c i had since jan of 08 and just starting to paly with it. i live in halifax, canada. anyways, I would like to upgrade to HIDs for my fogs and headlights. My question to some who have used HIDs is regarding the drls, did you guys have any problems with them having to stay on everytime? and for the fogs, any problems with heat? and what kind of bulb type does it use? i read here that its 9140? or am i wrong? Hopefully I'm correct coz I've already ordered them.

Do a search for HID Headlights
There has been much said about these HID "kits" or true legal HID headlights for the H3
and it sounds like what you've bought is a HID "kit", but you didn't state what you are getting

I already did search for these types but I'm confused with the fogs because I haven't seen a post regarding HIDs on the fogs and what type of bulb to use, either 9140, 9145 or H10. thanx!

ive had my HIDs for 2 yrs with NO problems at all i had one bulb burn out after a year thats it. i just recently switched my 10,000k for light to a 3000k bright yellow bulb and it looks sickk and is 10x brighter than my 10000k Hi/lo beam HIDs

So did you only switch the fogs to 3000k and keep the 10000K for the headlights? I've changed mine already but I'm looking for a different combination since they still don't seem bright enough.

Just replacing the bulbs, I was able to reach them from underneath without taking anything off, so they were easy.
