Herzog 40HP injectors
 

Well, my 6.5 turbo is starting to get really smoky on morning start ups. almost at 100,000 miles, so I guess its time to replace the injectors. Anyone ever use the Herzog 40hp marine injectors? GOOD, BAD, UGLY?

Your problem might not be just injectors. But to answer your question...

I have the ssdiesel 40 horse injectors. Before I installed them I put on a Rubberduck exhaust. With the exhaust the truck sounded alot better but performance was not noticeable. When I put the injectors on I could feel a little difference but my EGT's got too high. Then I bought a turbomaster boost controller. Thats when things came together.

After I did the turbomaster/exhaust/injectors the truck had a VERY noticeable power increase.

Bottom line is if you are going to leave it stock just get stock injectors.
