the superglue is actually called derma-bond...GREAT STUFF!!! My brother works in OR's and got me a case of the stuff. I'm kinda accident prone.
the dog seems to be doing better...I gave him a tylenol and that calmed him down. I don't think dermabond would work though...it's not cuts..there are 3 spots about the size of a half dollar and the top 1/4" of skin/fur is completely ripped off. most disgusting thing I've ever seen in a dog wound[:'(]

Impy, my Lab ran into a stick (I know, they are supposed to be smart, right?) Anyway, it left a gash about 2 inches long on her upper right side of her chest. They told us to do exactly what you just did. Put the Neo on it and just keep an eye on it until you can get to the Vet. It's natural for them to try to get the Neo off or try to tear at a bandage. You just have to keep watching them and keep the neo on it. Hope he's ok.

I think you got confused. Your vet told YOU not to lickany dog wounds, because of yourmouth. I thought that's what they said?
