Help on GM/Hummer Factory 4 Year/50K M Warranty + Extended 100K M GM/Hummer Warranty
Just bought a 2007 Hummer H3. I have been hearing all kinds of things from all kinds of people. Even checked the Hummer and GM website and still have questions;
As a standard, there's no service included with Hummer H3s like Mercedes? Like oil changes and transmission fluid changes, etc. correct? What factory full warranty do I have, a 4 year / 50,000 mile bumper-to-bumper (except brake pads, hoses, wipers, etc)? What about this 100,000 mile power-train warranty I heard about? Is it a 100,000 mile power-train warranty *OR* 100,000 mile / 5 year warranty? Meaning is the power-train warranty limited to miles *OR* miles AND time? Do you have to buy your Hummer H3 from a GM dealer or any dealer to get the 100,000 mile power-train warranty? What about buying your H3 from a private party to get the 100,000 mile power-train warranty? If you buy your H3 used, does it have to be sold to you as a 'Certified Used GM vehicle' to get the 100,000 mile power-train warranty? Is there a deductible when you bring your H3 in for factory 4Y / 50K warranty? Is there a deductible when you bring your H3 in for extended 100K power-train warranty? |
And please... only reply with facts and what has been confirmed by GM/Hummer sites and news releases. I need facts not opinion or speculation.
