Help! Blower motor won’t shut off! 2005 Hummer H2 SUT
After turning off the truck my fan continues to run, I unplugged the blower motor and replaced it, checked the fuses but none of them seem to be the answer to my problem. Once the blower motor resisters connect it immediately turns the fan on.

Most likely the blower motor "control processor" is gone bad. It is pretty much a resistor but these are actually PWM controlled so its not exactly a straight resistor in the traditional sense. This is a common sign that it has gone bad though and I know the replacement ones are redesigned to make them more reliable. So - time to replace the control processor (resistor) module. I think they are around $80 or so.
