Hello from Southeast Tennessee

Hey Guys and Gals...

Just got my 2006 Hummer H3 last Thursday (12-20-2007) and absolutely love it...

Had been looking to purchase a "New" 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 LTZ and had also been looking at the 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche 4x4 LTZ since my Daughter had bought one the first week of December. She had initially had a 2006 Hummer H2, but for some reason, she didn't like it that much. So she sold it and bought the Avalanche and at least she loves it...

While I was looking at the Silverado and Avalanche, I spotted the 2006 Hummer H3 (Black) in the Pre-Owned area of the Dealership and just for kicks, asked what they were asking for it and was surprised with what they were asking for it. The funny thing was that when we were looking through the paperwork for the vehicle, I knew of the Guy that had previously owned it and I must say this H3 was as good as the day it was bought "New". It is a Black with Ebony Interior and had all the options that you could ask for. The Guy that had previously owned it had bought it "New" in Chattanooga, Tennessee on August 12, 2005 (2006 Model) and had paid $37,389.00 for it. While checking it out, it had 41,882 Miles and I picked this little jewel up for only $24,800.00, so I don't think I did all that bad with it.

Don't know the real reason I decided to buy the H3, but when I found it on the Dealership Lot, it was saying "Buy Me, Buy Me", so that's exactly what I did and have been pleased with it ever since.

As for Me, I'm 53 Years Old and work as a Critical Care Paramedic for the State of Tennessee and also do some Flight Paramedic work as well.

So that's about it for my introduction and have been enjoying the Forum here and learning as I go...

So all I can say is "Hello" and "Merry Christmas" to everyone...

Be Safe,
ccpfwr

Welcome to the forum! I was also close to buying an Avalanche before the H3 came out. I hear that from a lot of other H3 owners. Enjoy the forum! :)
