Default heated leather,but no heat!

finally ot my beloved leather . the yard clipped the connector pigtails out of the doner car, lucky me,some are different.
problem is the number of wires IS different and it looks like it takes a harness to the bcm for some reason.
I have 3 manuals and I just cant find the info. it may be in there but not for me!
anyone ever done this swap!! cloth to leather.
funny thing is the fuses look like heated seats only but they were in my cloth h3 and they are good, its the missing wires.

I drove a long way,paid dearly,would love heat b4 dec!!

btw part reason for my threads is to assure at least one new one a week to keep the forum alive!! people left, can advertizers bee far behind?

Default got it

no fun, all day in the book and in the truck.
the book is very hard to navigate, understand their nomenclature, just finding connectors.
still have not figured how to run two missing wires.
in literally leafed thru the book to "stumble" into the stuff I needed. very difficult, hard to explain.
if anyone ever needs help I can try.

Why not take the good, unmolested heater elements out of your cloth seat covers and put them into your leather seat covers? I dinked around successfully doing the same on a kraut kar decades ago, am I missing something?

Oh, I see. Are the new seats from the same model year truck? It looks like there could be a different wiring harness configuration between '06 and '08 trucks according to the diagrams that I have. Otherwise the circuit itself operates the same and uses the same 20A fuse for heater element power and heated seat control switch relay located in the underhood fuse block.

Default fuses fuses everywhere!

but not a wire to spare,,, yeah there are a lot of fuses and cicuits, power for motors and for heat, and 2 ignition voltage feeds for seatbelts and other stuff.

I wasn't going to chase wires,IF ANY were attached to the 2 fuses that appear to be only for heated seats when my h3 came without them! why were the fuses there?? who knows, no sign of the wires.

I just used the feed for the driver power seat motors for everything and picked up an ignition volt wire in the passenger seat .
I jumped it ovet to the driver seat where needed and it feels like its working.
I will double check to see if the key kills everything tomorrow.

its been a struggle.

cant wait for freezing wx huh!!
