Hi I personally dont own a H2 but one of my freinds does he was just wondering if its worth putting headers on it?? Will it make a differance??

 

LTs or shorties? I just put on a pair of shorty headers, and I can't tell a difference in power. I'm sure it gave me a few extra ponies, but with the H2 weighing as much as it does, you'll need quite a few hp's to make a definite difference. Now if you go with a full exhaust (LTs and all the way back) and get a decent tune, I'm sure the difference will be felt. Depends on how much your friend wants to spend, and fast he wants to go.

It will sound better and make him feel like he has more power. I am going to get some Borla headers for mine someday.

 

LTs with aftermarket exhaust will sound better (louder...), shorties themselves wont do anything for the sound, since the cats and stock exhaust are still in place. But they will flow better, and they weigh only half of the original exhaust manifolds.

 

I put edelbrock shorties I got from Brodie at Ridgedemon. They were a cheap fix for the messed up stock exhaust leaks.

I think my exhaust sounds a lot better... I think it has a lil more pep in different powerband areas.... it's not a supercharger.. but even if it gave me .1mpg or 1hp... it's better than the stock garbage that was on there. The kit came complete with all bolts, gaskets, etc....
