Has anyone tried jumping their H2 and cracked the windshield? *** MANY PICS ***
 

It appears that I am not alone on this issue. If you jump the H2 - the windshield cracks on the lower right. Anyone see the episode of Viva La Bam when Bam jumps his hummer? Same thing happened. The windshield breaks in that same spot.
I just replaced my 3rd windshield. Was off roading up at BeaveRun (www.beaverun.com) with my 2008 H2 in the winter and decided to jump a hill at 35 mph. I landed front wheels first and that was it. The A Pillar spot welds also tore. Just wondering if anyone else had the same problems.

Yes things break - I am working on a suspension lift for the truck as well as seriously preparing it for more events up at BeaveRun... No more offroading til fall for me tho... I am going to put on my new wheels I bought. 24" Dub Pimpstar's with 315/50-24 Terra Grapplers. The Pimpstars are NOT an easy task to put on let me tell you. I have them in the garage mounted and balanced... Gotta find the time and some help to install these. Take a look here - Heres the install directions :

Pimpstars don't look like great offraod wheels. I have never purposely tried to jump a Hummer. I have had the front end come down a little harder than I wanted but have not cracked a windshield yet. An un areodynamic 6000# brick probably doesn't land gracefully.

I bought mine up north at Queensway Motors in Toronto, Ontario when I was visiting family there in August.

Yes the Pimpstars are not an offroad wheel. I leave the factory wheels/tires on for that stuff.

I had a set of 24" Echelon Rolexx wheels on it a few months back - Heres a pic of it down at PPG. The wheels were VERY VERY heavy and never balanced out right. Crappy castings from Japan.

where in toronto did you buy it?? Northwest?? not sure where that is, is it a used car lot??
