H3T w/I5 ....similar performance to H3?

I'm looking for a used H3T to replace my '06 3.5. I've been fairly content with the power in my '06 3.5, except on long grades at highway speeds. I don't tow anything on a regular basis. Is the H3T 3.7 about the same for response and power?

Also, can anyone point me to a comprehensive spec page for the H3T. The Hummer web site is a dead end.

I have both an 08 H3 and a 09 H3T with 3.7s and they drive the same. I don't notice a difference in power. I had an 06 and it seemed a little underpowered.

A friend of mine is selling this '09 H3T Alpha Adventure (front & rear lockers. It's a great deal for $28,5k and is loaded. PM me your phone number if you are interested & I will call you with more details. I'm down in Tucson.

My wife drives an '08 H3 3.7, I drive an '09 H3T 3.7 and we also own a '09 H3 Championship Edition the V8. All 3 are diffrerent in many ways, including response/power between the 08 H3 3.7 and the '09 H3t 3.7. The T is heavier and doesn't feel as peppy/responsive as the lighter H3 - you do feel a difference between the 2. You feel a huge difference in power when you step on the '09 H3 CE V8 vs. either of our 2 3.7s. If you plan to tow a lot, you should get the V8/Alpha as the towing capacity is significantly higher that the 3.7.

I have an 09' with the 3.7L and manual transmission, when I test drove it back to back with an automatic w/ 3.7L it was noticable that you get more power out of the manual for acceleration and on hills... however it is a dog on the highway.

You do get more power and a better torque curve out the 3.7L compared to the 3.5L which is nice though.

For off-road, the I5 is a pretty rocking engine. Lots of low grunt, good economy at low RPM, plus when you mix it with the standard transmission you get an even lower crawl ratio... however if you are doing highway driving a lot, definitely go with an Alpha.

I did a very comprehensive spec page for the H3T btw:

Also specific model information:
http://clubhummeroffroad.com/forums/...so-included%29

This is also interesting, it is a total production number of the H3T
http://clubhummeroffroad.com/forums/...on-Information

You should be able to find what you are looking for in one of those
