H3T Subwoofer solution for the record!
I just wanted to share with my fellow T family. I Just finished a custom sub-woofer enclosure that accommodates 2 12" speakers under the rear bench seat with minor modification to the vehicle/seat. It is pretty easy and looks awesome. Made possible by the utilization of shallow subs readily avalible today and some ingenuity. The space is virtually useless under the seat and as you know these trucks beg for low end bass. It was the logical solution. I selected the Alpine type R because the air specs are spot on with this design. powered by alpine as well at 24OO watts. A little much but can be dialed back to suit any situation. pictures to come. IT CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED! just get'r done. topic settled for the the record
Yea this is way dead, what I did was install 2 of these guys under there.

How do they sound? What kind of amp (and where is it) are you using to run them? And are you just spliced into the rear speaker feeds?

After months of delays, today I am finally beginning my project to squeeze two 12's under the back seat. It will consist of two Stereo Integrity BM MKIV subs and a customer MDF enclosure with fiberglass floor. I'll be sure to post progress pictures. I am attempting to build the enclosure without raising the height of the seat and based on preliminary fitment this should be possible. We'll see if I am successful.
