H3 Temp Gauge not working
Today, my 2008 hummer h3 gave me a warning light "ac off" and I noticed my temp gauge wasn't registering any thing. Could it be a blown fuse? Help! also, does this fall under drivetrain warranty like my radiator did?

Fuse? Could be a bad sensor, or bad connection to the temp sensor. If your PCM looses temp sensor input, AC Off will be displayed in the DIC as an over heat precaution, so you will not be able to use the AC until corrected.
If the gauge itself just quits, the AC will not turn off because the PCM still reads what the temp is, you just can't see it on the gauge. |
How did you go with fixing this problem?
Hi Tylenol7, did you end up diagnosing and fixing this problem? Was it the connector?

Please stop digging up OLD threads. I see you started a new one, but really the first thing you should do is SEARCH. When you find answers, no need to post in whatever old thread gave it to you either.
