I have a tactical edition and it did not come with the badges. I found out that when the dealer ordered the trucks they had to order the badges. I think the is strange. Anyway not sure if anyone else is in the same boat. I hope this helps.

Does your window sticker have the tactical package annotated on it? I know some dealers just threw together the package themselves (in-house) which truely isn't a Tactical Edition H3. I wish they would've serialized the Tactical's as Ford did my 03 Cobra.

 

Yes, it says Tactial Package on the sticker. It was a $2495.00 option.

The Tactical's didn't come from the factory with the badges I found out, it was an option that some dealers chose to add on. Mine did it at no extra cost and they don't show on the sticker so that is what lead me to believe that they were just part of the package, but apparently they aren't.
BUT, your sticker will say Tactical Edition Incl: 2,495.00, you are correct.

The dealer I bought mine from: Hummer of Columbus had about15 Tacticals on their lot when I first started looking into the H3. I witnessed 4 of them coming off the loader with the badges on them. I don't think they just added the badges at the dealership. If anything it was an option at the assembly plant and they requested that those badges be on there. Unless after the fact the dealers order them and placed them on the vehicles. As long as your sticker has the option that's all that matters. Either way I like the truck but I also dislike imposters.

 

I'm with you...I also own an 04' Rubi and it drives me crazy to see posers putting Rubicon stickers on a plain jane tj (as if they're fooling someone)
