Hey guys. I've got a 2007 H3 (I5), and I was poking around under the hood today on lunch and noticed this stray hose. It's on the passenger side of the engine, and is connects down underneath the engine somewhere. It's got some sort of rubber end on the top end, and it (currently) doesn't connect to anything. I'm guessing this isn't normal since when I found it, it was very close to the serpentine belt and easily could have gotten in there.

I'll investigate more once I can get out of my work clothes, but I figured I'd see if someone knew what it was by my crappy pictures. Thanks for the help.

 

Never mind, I figured it out. Looks like it's the front diff breather and it came loose somehow.

 

Looks similar to the passenger seat ejection rocket module connector wire for the secret dash actuator button.

 

Hey Doc, do you know if that came standard with the adventure package, LOL ?

 

on my adv its under the driver just ahead of the seat heater sw,,
