H3 Squeaking drivers seat
 

Hi All,
My 2008 H3 front drivers seat (electric) started squeaking this weekend. It is really annoying because every time I go around a corner it squeaks loudly. My H3 up until now has been pretty much squeak/noise free inside.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is there something under the seat that needs lubrication?

I've just had mine back as a lot of the time I get a 'clunk' from the seat runner just as you start to pull away and then when you brake. Dealer said "it's normal"....
I don't agree but what you supposed to do.

Hi ukpaul, "its normal" seems to be the standard excuse at Hummer service centres. I have had it with them.

I'm sick of this squeaking every time I hit the brake and go. But when u get out of the truck and try to make it squeak my moving it with ur hand nothing. I got the ultimate cure don't sit on the seat lol

I have a 2006. It depends on how the drivers seat is set but it will clunk when I brake or turn a corner. It's like the metal pan is oil canning. I am thinking about removing the seat to check it out.
