H3 Pinkish fluid leak
 

I have an '06 H3 and have recently been smelling a "coolant" aroma when I park the vehicle. I did see some spray or spatter near the battery and on the hood. I have not been able to locate any leaks but had a dime sized puddle in my garage which appeared to be pinkish/orangeish. Can anybody help me with this please? I have also had a kind of low pitch whining noise that seems to be coming from the front passenger side. the puddle seemed to be in the center of the H3.

i would check/have checked radiator AND transmission fluid as i hear here that sometime the radiator leaks water into trans,,,VERY BAD !

orange is coolant,,,pink ?tranny fluid??

I checked in to and found I need a new radiator. NOw just to figure out how to remove the radiator and the ac lines on bottom.

how many miles do you have on your hummer?

85K miles.

i would get complete tranny service too
 

and i would not drive till its done!

no direct experience but id be scared.
im watching mine since this is the only vehicle ive heard of with the problem

BUT it could be the reason for a lot of junkyard cars!!
