I havent worked with the Face plate on my H3 yet, but I have on many before this. Look towards the outer edges of the dash. Check inside the center console for screws. Once you find the outboard screws and remove them it should reveal more screws to the next piece. Hope it works out for you and let me know how it goes!

Just stick two fingers in the cigarette lighter holes and pull. There are no screws or anything like that.

Are you trying to remove just the face of the radio? or remove the dash around the radio in order to remove the entire radio from the dash?
I read it like you are trying to remove just the face. If this is the case, I know that you need to press and hold the CD eject button for like 15 ~20 seconds and it will pop out to give you access to the Navi Disc. Maybe once you have it popped out you can see if there is an easy way to remove it. good luck! |
Where did you get this new faceplate because all of my buttons are wore out

I ordered from ebay...it was the face plate for the radio with all the knobs and buttons..if u hold the eject button it will pop out and that will give you access to it...i just took it to my local audio shop and they installed it in about 30 minutes...

Interesting... But I think I'll just hang on to that $150 and put it towards my upgraded head unit someday.
