H3 Issues
So I have had a couple problems with my H3 arise over the past couple months. It is a Black '07 Luxury package. One of the problems being a common one and that is the glove box latch. It broke and I can't seem to find it anywhere on the internet so I can replace it. I bought my truck from a used car dealer back in January of this year and it had remaining factory warranty and I bought an extended warranty to add on. Do I take my truck back to the dealer regarding this issue or do I try and contact GM directly or is there somewhere online where I can purchase a new one?
Another concern I have is the paint on the front grill. The front grill on my truck came to me painted black. Everywhere I try to search, I only see the front grills being Chrome from factory. I do not have the Chrome package. The black paint on the grill is peeling horribly and needs to be fixed. Im trying to figure out if the grill came painted black from the factory or if this is something the previous owner before me tried to do themselves. Any help would be appreciated on how to handle this situation.

Something I posted a while back concerning the glove box latch. I found it by doing a SEARCH on glove box latch.....
gmpartshouseusa.com
Under "OEM AUTOMOTIVE PARTS" enter year, make and model of vehicle. A blue menu appears to the left. Select instrument panel. Under the sub-category, select instrument panel again. Click on "latch" Then you have the choice of cashmere or ebony. I hope this helps.

Thanks for your help. I actually read over the post your referring to a little while back. I did my searching through the forums and found that it was a common problem, just have not been able to find it online anywhere. I did find a place where you could replace the whole glove box door at $125 which I'm trying to avoid.
RKS: I just purchased the Latch from that site, thank you for your help! I must have passed over it when searching the site in the past.
Mr. Fancy: Neither am I. Im pretty certain it was a botched custom grill paint job. I'm searching now on the types of paints to use to fix it.

I had the same problematic glovebox latch and purchased it from the same site. Less than $20 with shipping I believe. The replacement looked perfect and with the same #'s on the bottom, but did not line up or latch quite like the factory part. The screws went in at an angle, but it does function and it was cheap!
