H3 Hummer Side Shift

We love our 2009 H3 Hummer, but lately, it's been doing a hard shift to one side or another when we hit a crack in the road - or those patches to slow drivers down before the stop sign. Does anyone know what this is and what we need to do to fix it?

Welcome to HF.

We have this crazy system here where if you have a question about a specific vehicle, say like an H3..... the question goes in the H3 section.

If you would have looked before you posted in the Hummer Forums Help and Suggestion Center, you would have seen a thread stuck at the top that says: "Do NOT post vehicle questions in this section" because....

That section of the forums is NOT for vehicle questions. It is where you can ask questions about HOW TO USE FORUM FEATURES ONLY!

Anyways, on to your problem.
How many miles on the current set of tires? and when was the last tire rotation? Worn and unevenly worn tires will lead to lane wandering.

Could need various items. New tires, shock absorbers, steering rack bracket and bushing, alignment, tie rod ends, etc.

We need a more in depth description of the problem.

If it were me, I would have an independent shop check the ball joints.
