H3 Heater and Air not working! WHY?

My H3's entire air system all the sudden stopped working. I just got in it one day and I had no heat, air, defrost or anything. When I put it on full blast, on any option (defrost, face, feet etc) there is no noise whatsoever (cant hear the fan or anything).

What is wrong?

This is just another problem on my growing list of broken things in my H3, all of which are not my fault. I'm going on a cruise this sunday and plan to leave the H3 at the dealer and have them fix everything under warranty.

But in the mean time (since it's -10 outside here!) does anyone know if this is something I could fix?

Did you check the fuses? A blown fan fuse would be one of my first thoughts.

Do you get any airflow through when the car is moving?

Definitely sounds like either the blower motor is burned out, or most likely the fuse.

I'm guessing you mean the blower is not working and not necessarily the entire HVAC system. If it's the blower and you've checked the fuse, probably the resistor pack and / or harness. Not at all uncommon on any GM car.

Same thing is happening to mine, since Aug. it is at the dealer again for the 5 th time. They have replace the blower 2 times, the fuse box, fuses, blamed it on the remote car starter installer. This is real pain in the ass.
