H3 Climate Control Hot Air
From what I have been reading, is the Hummers (atleast H2's, and i'm assuming H3's have it as well) have an internal cabin temperature sensor. When you have the AC on 60, or the heat on 90, it will override the sensors.. meaning you will get heat on 90, AC on 60. When you have it on any other temp setting, the sensor thinks the cabin is a different temp, and will adjust the air coming out. You most likely need to change that sensor.
H3's do not have the cabin temp. sensor. Do a search on temp control calibration and if that doesn't work, search blend door replacement. There are several threads around on this very issue. Good luck.
I have the EXACT same problem as h3h3 posted. It started when the battery died in July. My dear husband normally figures this stuff out, but he's working and it's up to me to figure it out...sooooo....what is a "blend door" and where do I find it or the "temp control calibration?" I will proceed to look these up on this site, otherwise. Thanks!
