Default H3 and children?

Just curious guys-

Anyone here hauling any kids in these things? I haven't been able to drive one yet, but I'm in the market for a new vehicle and I've got twins on the way in October and I need something to haul them in..

Looking at an H3..

I just bought an 07 H3 for business and we have 2 kids 4 and 7. Had no problem with them. With newborn twins you might want a little more room with all the diaper bags, stroller and any other newborn stuff. Just check one out though, I was pleasantly surprised and happier everyday with it.

We have twins.. and a 10 year old. There are no room-issues. LOTS of room, and lots of cargo capacity.

i have twin 2.5 year olds and they fit nicely in the back. the best thing is that you can open the door with them standing there and it clears there head because of the arch for the back fender well.

I have an 11 month old son. With the rear facing seat in the center, we are good. With twins you won't have that option. I'm 6'5" and there is no way I could drive the truck with a rear facing seat directly behind me. You need to figure out the seats you are going to use and go to the dealer, install it, and see if it works. This is exactly what I did. Once they hit 1 year and 25lbs(atleast in Kentucky), you can flip the seats around which is a whole different ballgame. There would be no problem with room at that point.

Rear facing seats suck.

Get a luggage rack if your having room probs. Took my 6 and 8 year old nephews to Deer camp for a week with all that goes with that. To say I was loaded heavy is a understatement. Didn't want all my stuff out in the weather so strapped the kids to the rack. They loved it. Thought it was better than six flags! Could see there shadow on the side of the road and they had their hands up like ridin a roller coaster.....

Haha I have twin 10 year old boys too! (identical). I installed a Eclipse DVD and Clarion headrest monitors, generally keeps them pretty quite. They have plenty of room and enjoy the ride. Matter of fact one of them drove on a recent off road trip for about 10 miles, entirely by his self with menext to him in the passenger seat...that was weird, but he did an awesome job.

My wife hauls our two year old grand daughter in the H3 and there is plenty of room. I highly recommend a DVD in the headrest. It makes for much nicer drives.
