Just wanted to post an update: the seats are working great. Love the versatility that we get with the 3rd row in our H3 now.

If you're interested in getting a set ordered call Michelle at Little Passenger Seats. I am not affiliated but I do want to see more of these options around. Happy memorial day to all.

Looks like a nice set-up.
I have to say I'd be very hesitant to run them sideways or facing back for fear of injury to the kids in an accident, but they look like they'd protect well in a forward position as the backrest goes up nice and high. I assume the manufacturer tested or researched the 4 cargo archor bolt locations to assure they are rated to handle the force of an accident with 2 passengers attached to the plate.

Xlr8n some great points you have. Little Passenger Seats has all the testing done on the seats and the hardware as well. We have had them mounted all directions and the kids love them. The thing I like most is they sit right over the rear axles and this should aid in some crash protection as well (depending on how we get hit of course).

That's how you turn a H3 into a soccer moms car hahaha. Then again no room for the soccer *****...

Been a while since I had my 3, but I'm surprised there is room for seats, even little kid seats. I'm with Xlr8n - I wouldn't feel comfortable with them facing any direction other than forward. This coming from someone who grew up in the 70's and 80's, didn't wear seat belts as a kid, road in the back of a pick-up all the time, and stuff like this was common (it has a pair of rear facing seats in the bed):
