I have been trying, with very little success, to install a aftermarket stereo to my '08.. I went with a Pioneer AVH-2400bt, and the GMOS-04 wiring harness. When I installed the unit it had very low sound. I stopped by a few local stereo installers today and got very little info. Has anyone else had this problem?

Everyone is in agreement that the harness and radio are connected correctly. I tried adjusting the gain screws inside the chime control. didnt work.



any info would be greatly appreciated!

 

You might have a bad GMOS-4 box, when mine went out the headhunt and my lights wouldn't shut off. By the way very nice deck is that the one that the face is removable? I have the Pioneer AVH-P4200 and the screen looks very cartoonist and I don't like it at all and want a new one.
