Default H2 parts

I became aware of a wrecked H2 for sale. It appears to be very light front passenger side damage. The bags are good, and it is supposedly drivable. I think the title is clear. It is a 2003 with 50K miles on it and they want $15K. It needs a hood and a "saddle". What exactly is a "saddle"? Does the grill and headlights come with the hood, because they appear to be missing as well. Does this sound like a good deal?

i'd stay away from it unless you plan to use it for parts, no way, without a body shop inspection, to know what other kind of damage there is. the hood and grill are 2 different pieces.

What about just putting it back together and selling it? I was thinking I could make 8-10K depending on the cost of parts.

without knowing exactly what's wrong with it, it could cost that much to get it road worthy again. Impy had an issue with a vahicle that supposedly had a "clear" title, but it turned out it was actually salvage - so you could run into more problems than just paying through the nose to fix it. without knowing the owner and exactly what happened, it just seems like a lot of risk.

Does it look like mine? Early guesstimates are approaching $10k in repairs....

hey puddles, if you had had the winch mounted in the receiver, you might have saved a lot of damage to your truck . . . . . . . or, it could have poked through the door and killed the other driver, so maybe it's good you didn't have it mounted. . . . . . []

No honestly It doesn't look like that. The hood and front end (lights, grill, and plastic) are gone. There appears to be no other cosmetic damage. The one thing I didn't know about was the "saddle". Still don't know what that is, but was thinking it was what the hood rested on on the passenger side.
This was exactly the info I wanted. I would never have guessed 10K worth of damage to your rig. Was there frame damage? Suspension? Cause honestly it doesn't look that bad. Sorry about your rig.

I think the saddle is the area around the front doors/cowl/etc.... but the hood I researched is $2000, plus a grill, lights, etc...

If you have the chance to put it on a alignment rack.. then you can find out if it is bent... spend the $15 on a carfax report.

Yea it's starting to not sound so good after all. Probably just somebody trying to unload a problem.
