H2 Modifications from 03-07 ????

Hi Guys
Does anyone know if I can fit the plastic grill section which sits between the DRLs & below the chrome grill from a 2007 model (which has HUMMER embossed) onto my 2003 model..?

Pretty sure you can. The only real exterior difference I'm aware of in this model year span is antenna placement.

I don't think 2007 has Hummer embossed on the lower grille....

I only say that because I have both a 2003 and a 2007....

I'm somewhat certain that 2008 started the Hummer on the grille insert....

Ooooh, good catch Muddy---when I read that something rang wrong, but I was looking at the part where they said it came from an 07. Only the 08-09 HUMMER's had that lettering located there.

You realize your front end (upper & lower grills) are both going to say-

HUMMER
HUMMER

If you want that updated lower grill that says HUMMER on it, I'd also get the updated upper grill to w/ out the embossed letters.

I pulled out the rubber letter inserts in my upper grill, filled and sanded it out. I had no idea that was a factory change twards the end... but I hate emblems/badges/names on my vehicles though.

It drives me nuts when I see an H2 w/ aftermarket accessories that say hummer or H2 all over it. If someone doesn't know what vehicle were driving, they're a ****ing idiot. But everyones entitled to their own taste...Which leads me to wonder where Safari has been hiding. Havn't seen any new mods from him in a while.

Yeah your right it's the 08 models..!
I agree with bflorin as the top grill would need replaced also as it would be to much with them both embossed.
This is just a subtle change I wanted to carry out to give the H2 a younger look.

Also are the newer thicker wing mirrors posts compatible on a 2003..?
I'm in the UK with no one close by you can advise
Thanks

That's funny that emblems drive bflorin nuts---I bought a new Ford many years ago and was so embarrassed I took it straight home and melted all the emblems off of it.
As for the HUMMER though, it's already an in your face truck, so why not a little more and see how many HUMMER logo's you can have on it.
Each of my roof rack mounts (3 on each side), wheels, rear hitch step, rubber cover for the receiver when the hitch step is not in, spare tire insert, rear bumper, front grill and probably some I've missed are stamped proudly with the HUMMER logo.
Excessive---yup, but really, so is a HUMMER!!

YES, the 06+ mirrors will fit the 2003-2005 H2. Be careful though... 2006 and 2007 they had a smooth post.... 2008+ they are textured...

get either textured or smooth... but don't get one of each...

I de-badged my H2.... mine did NOT come with Chicklets...

Mine says Hummer on the Grille, like it should.

It says Hummer on the steering wheel.

That's it....

before my wife got new wheels... she had Hummer on her H2 in 34 places....

I think I have it down to the low 20's

Oh yeah, I forgot about the twin DVD players that when powered up display the HUMMER logo.....
