I haven't seen another topic of this but I am looking for a way to adjust the idle RPM of my car with either a switch or potentiometer if possible.

Does anyone know of a method on how to do this in the H2?

 

The only way I know to do it is to use a Tech II, an edge, or perhaps in the case you described, take something from one of the mobile welding units that increases the rpm when you weld.

 

Thanks for the quick reply.. I found a bunch of the "Edge" programmers online for sale. Do you know if I can for sure adjust my idle with that? That's the only thing I need to do.

I need it to be about 2800RPM so I can get my alternators at their peak for short periods of time.

 

I will go outside and see if mine will set idle.

 

It will not go past 1500rpm....

 

This one will only go to 2000rpm...
