Hello Hummer owners,

I am doing a research paper for my High School Auto Shop class ( I know 50% is hands on & 50% is paper stuff) and I need some technical specifications for the H2.
I already looked online and even in the GM website but I cannot find much information.

My question is do any of you guys have an estimate of the horsepower and torque for a stock H2 6.0?

6.0l or the newer 6.2l?

 

325HP and 365#s of torque if I remember correctly.

 

2003-2004 6.0l: 316 hp @ 5200 rpm and 360 lb-ft. of torque @ 4000 rpm

2005-2007 6.0l: 6.0-liter V8 producing 325 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 385 lb.-ft. of torque at 3600 rpm.

2008-2009 6.2l: New 6.2L Vortec with significant improvement in both Performance and Fuel Economy. 393 hp (+68 hp) @ 5700 rpm and 415 lb.ft torque (+50 lb.ft) @ 4300 rpm

 

it's a LQ4 8th VIN Digit "U"

BTW... early H2's like my 2003 are only 316HP... I think 325hp happened in 2005...

 

I just checked the Lynch website again and you are CORRECT!

They have all of the POP materials for each year and I have corrected my post above!
