H2 to H3 windshield rake????
Hey all,
I am curious if anyone on here has an H2 and H3 (or knows of anyone that has the opposite of what you have) I am trying to find what the rake or degree in slope is for the H2's front windshield in comparison to the rake/slope to that of the H3. Your help would be greatly appreciated |
I had both but traded the 3 in December after only 4 months for the '08 2. Got some pics but don't know if that would help.

I got both but do not know how to "measure" that. If you can explain how, I can give it a shot and get you an answer

Hey atari800. Thanks for the help.
If I remember my math correctly, you could either take one of those half circle protractor/degree finders and put it at a level surface and eye ball the degree of rake the vehicle has and then do the same with the other in the same place, or you can take a ruler/tape measure and hold it straight up and down at 6 or 12 inches, then measure in from the point the ruler is to the window. Do this twice, and that should be enough for me to figure the rake.... then repeat on the other vehicle, same way from the same position. Thanks!!!! |
You're going to make me fail math at my age?
I am downloading clinometer from Google Apps store Here are the readings - h3 29.5 h2 29 I laid phone on windshields about 1 foot from drivers side and passenger side about center of windshield If this is wrong then tell em what app to use and how to use it Not sure if different tire pressures would make a difference but I didnt measure those so they might affect the angle too Hope it helps |
atari,
great. were both the rigs on the same surface (level and all, or a drive with the same slope?) yes tire inflation and if they are lifted and all that plays into the measurement when using that app. given... if we can figure this out... you might have helped me find something everyone can do |
Same surface - no one was in carport (h3), other was on cedar chips (h2), neither on incline
Both vehicles appear level No tires appear to be low on air |
sweet.
i think this might help me out. thanks atari. if this works, i might owe ya a couple drinks ;-P |
lol
Good luck with project X |
