H2 Air Conditioning
My H2 is only 3 weeks old. The Air Conditionar seems to take a while to really get cool. After the inside cools off everything stays cool and works just fine. Its just the initial start up. I does blow cool immediatly but just taks some time to bring the temp down inside.
Is this normal for the Hummer? |

Mine is 3 months old and I've noticed the same thing. I'm also hearing a vibrating noise while on the highway if traveling over 70mph.

considering the volume of air within an H2 that the AC is trying to cool, i would say that yes, it is normal

RE: H2 Air Conditioning
When I purchased my H2, the air was great. then later it did not do as well. I took it to the deale and they could not find the problem. I took it to Mr. Goodwrench and they found that I was low on freon, I had a slow leak. The also found that the fan was not working properly. Your internal air should be cool and crisp to the back of your had, if not it can be the low freon poor fan function

RE: H2 Air Conditioning
that is true for a newer vehicle, but when its 100 out, and you get in and start the truck, you certainly cant expect the cabin air to cool down right away

RE: H2 Air Conditioning
I live in a climate were the temperature is around 117 in the summer. When it is 100 in our area the air cools down in 3 approx minutes. When my car was new the air conditioning would get ice cold extremley fast that was the first think that impressed me.
