Default Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac LT265/75/R16 C-Rated

Yesterday I got some 265/75/R16 Duratracs installed. I absolutely LOVE these tires!

I got them installed at Discount Tire, got home, looked at the tire and realized they installed E-rated! I thought the ride home was pretty stiff!

So I went back and they found the C-rated ones I special ordered in the back. MUCH BETTER RIDE!

They are smooth and are great on the highway. Slightly more noisy than stock, but nothing to complain about.

To those debating on going to the 33" tire over the 32", I'm not sure I would recommend it. Unless you are offroading a bunch or hauling trailers, boats, etc. DEFINITELY GET THE C-RATED!

The Duratracs have a WAY better rating in rain and snow.

Goodyears look the best but 32" tires still look too small, 33" duratrac tires only available on 17 inch rims. 32.8" actual & 11"wide. Anyone have suggestions on 17" rim styles so I can get the 33" duratrac 285 70 17 put on them? Not buying anything less than 33s. The 32" Goodyears actually measure 30 to 30 1/2" with a bit of wear, way to small.

Are you saying that you can't find LT285/75R16 (33.1"x11.3"R16) Duratracs? Most tire stores have them or can get them quickly. Or the Duratrac LT285/70R17 is not 33" tall (32.8"x11.5"x17) I'm confused.

The LT265/75R16 is a 31.7"x10.5"R16, yep a bit under a 32".

Question lookin' for 295" brands

The Duratrac 285 75 16 may be called a 33" but it's only 32.8'' 11.2'' according to tire size calculations. I'd like a true 33" like a 295 75 16 which is 33.4" 11.6"
but GY Duratrac doesn't make one. The 305 70 16 is only 32.8' also and I was wrong in earlier post as the 285 70 in 17" rims are only 32.7" 11.2".
Really not much of a jump from running 265 75 16. Any suggestions on other brands that come in 295 75 16 which seems the perfect size I'm looking for? Not putting Street Queen 315" on a SUV.

What's wrong with 315/75/16 Duratrac's (34.6" diameter).
My truck's certainly not a "street queen" w/315's.

Ah...not that there's anything wrong with that... especially with the Adv Pkg , thx for the nice pic but I'm talking about a basic lux model. I'm thinkin' 285 75 16 or 305 70 16 both equal in height but 305 is 12" wide vs 11.2 with 285.

Always liked that Predator Bush Guard best but much too modest to put that on a lux model H3. Ha!
