Cool Going to Catch Hell for this. Here goes....

Had a conversation at work today about the H2. Was talking with my boss about mine, or should I say my wife's H2. One of his friends piped in saying it was nothing more than a H2 body on a Tahoe chassis. I told him there were more differences and that he didn't know what he was talking about. He even added he used to sell them. I said nah, having a difficult time believing that. Anybod care to weigh in on this????
Thanks, Joe

Your bosses friend is a tool. He didn't have any idea what he was selling.
But then again, soccer moms didn't really know what they were buying either.

Just because you sell them doesn't mean you know how they're made---and being ignorant of how their made just makes the guy an idiot. HUMMER sent their salesmen thru different training courses to familiarize them with the vehicle as much as possible.
Sounds like your guy must have been a run of the mill used car salesman.

On a related note---we were researching the 2005 Chrysler 300C's when they were new and learned the battery is placed in the trunk under a panel. My wife then visited a new Chrysler dealership and when the slimy salesman started trying to sell her a 300, she asked where the battery was since she didn't see it under the hood. Mr. Slime pointed to the remote located positive terminal and said it was under that. Nice try slimy guy---learn your cars before you open your mouth!

There are a lot of morons in the car business....but there are also a lot of guys in the business that know more then most enthusiasts on forums....I've been in the business for over 20 years and can say most salesman are not that sharp...to them its all about making $...that's why good salesman (mr Slimy) make over 100k a year with no college education...the longer I'm in the business the more I think all cars are JUNK...especially the high end veichles...Sorry for the rant but I hate stereo type BS...
