Are the screenshots of the standard GM service manual?

 

Not sure. I have been subscribing to erepair. Automotive Repair Software & Repair Shop Solutions | Mitchell 1 Its annual fee based. It seems to include everything and is vehicle specific. The electrical schematics have saved mu butt a number of times. One can print out pages as well. Also includes good in depth service technician troubleshooting steps etc. I have never seen a GM shop manual but I assume this is what's included.

Actually 3 years ago I purchased it for $10 from someone on ebay (before I found the forums) have to say its a pain to install, it uses vmwareplayer to run a virtual image and it it is sooooo sloooow.

There is also a "GM esi" browser based version, where it come from I'm not too sure but I know some guys have it and I believe its much faster andt has exactly the same information.

 

Hi I have seen a few comments of a service manual floating around in PDF, but I haven't seen a link anywhere in Hummer Forums. Might someone have it?

 

The PDF version is somewhat difficult to use as it is just all of the pages saved as PDF from the eSI system but its out there and far better than nothing. There is a Russian Hummer forums that has a link to download it. I used to have the link but cannot find it but with some searching you should be able to find it. The forums are totally in Russian though so once you locate it I'd recommend Chrome or some browser that can translate on the fly for you. The actual service docs are in English.
