Gas and roof rack keys disappeared from dash
 

So I fill up throw the keys on the dash and off i go, get home reach to get them and their gone. No hard turns or maneuvers that would've made them slide off. Well being I'm new to H3 I didn't know about the big gap. So where and how do I retrieve the damn things?

ive almost had to unbolt seats to get my cell phone or shades.
i tuck a towell between seat and consol.
its tough to get in there.

Yeah I've had fall there too but just never seen a gap at the dash and windshield on a vehicle, it's like GM made a change to the windshield but never to the guys working the interior design about the change.It's at least 3/16" gap....

I was pretty sure that they had fallen back there but after tapping all around the plastic cover with a ball peen hammer and no rattle noise. I wasn't too sure anymore. Just my luck the keys fell there alright but were in the body panel pocket.
