You guys know the location of the fuel filter? Is it relatively easy to replace?

Correct. Only the 2003 and "some" early 2004 ones have an external inline fuel filter. On a 2004-2007 (not sure on the 08/09 models) the fuel filter is the sock on the pump pickup and is part of the pump itself. The only way to change it on the 04-07 is to drop the fuel tank and replace the entire fuel pump.

If you are going to attempt this yourself, I'd strongly suggest driving it until the tank is empty.... 20+ gallons of gas is pretty heavy.
