Fuel cap light?

stopped after work to have the codes read. p0455, and p0442. so i guess they were related? i replaced the fuel cap. the old one had a tiny nick in the seal. had the codes cleared. drove 40 miles home. so far no code or light.

Thanks for posting back up that it is solved. So many just ask for help then don't tell us if it worked or not. Helps the next guy who has the same or similar issue.

unfortunatly...
warning light poped back up Saturday and again today on the way in to work. not a CEL this time. just the "FUEL CAP" warning above the odomiter. not sure where to go from here???

CEL on the way to work today. ill stop after work and have the code read.

Since you did the gas cap already, know you should be looking at the EVAP system. Start with the connection at the top front side of the TB and follow the hoses to the canister etc....
