Front Locker
 

Has anybody tried to put a front locker in a 06 to 08 H3 ????
Is it possible? What problems and or dificulties are there ?
It would sure be nice to have a front locker in my H3.
All help and thoughts appreciated.

Yes it has been done, several times...
However, not knowing what setup you have, GM did upgrade the front carrier for the 08-10 model years... so if your gonna do it, do it right...

And it looks like he's getting $1800 for the whole setup, simple swap out and for that price I would say its a no brainer!

Will look into it. If it's a complete differential and wiring. That's a great price.
Is wiring dificult????

There have been quite a few who have put a front locker in. Most will upgrade to the Cast Iron front diff from either an 08-10 Alpha and change the gears to 4:56s or they get an 09-10 Adventure (I5) front diff that is a complete Cast Iron 4:56 with locker differential assembly.

I would NOT try to put a front locker in the aluminum front diff that came on all 06-10 I5 equipped Non-Adventure H3/H3Ts.
