I just traded in my '06 H3 lux for an '08H3x & noticed that my headlights (while on auto) stay on even when it's daylight. Has anyone else noticed this?

 

Yea, they changed the main to daytime lights in 07

 

Did that 08 come with a manual? Sorry brud, you set yourself up for this one.

My '06 has the low-beams as DRL's already. I think the production change was phased in before the '07 model year actually started.

Why was this change made? Anyone know?

 

in mid 06 the drl's changed from side marker lights to headlights...there is a fuse in the underhood fuse box marked DRL....at least it should be...I think it was #19? Pull it and the drl's will turn off but your headlights and auto headlights will work as normal.

There might have been a few 07s that had the marker lights (like DVader)as DRLs. Who friggin needs em anyway? [:@]

 

Just turn the headlight **** to the left to turn off the DRL.

Mine's an '07 1/2. Several changes were made mid-year.
