Free XM subscription ending - Any deals on renewals?
My free 3 month XM subscription is ending this month. Some older posts spoke of cheaper renewal deals out there. XM quoted $142 per year to keep their service. Are there better deals to be had? Can the dealer offer better programs? Any info is appreicated!
Here are the terms.... pretty lengthy... but all inclusive... http://xmradio.com/about/customer-service-agreement.xmc
The way it works is.... the more radios you have and the longer you subscribe the cheaper it is... if you can swing a3 year pre-payment.... then do it.... now... you say to yourself... I won't have this truck in3 years.... well... then you call them up and ask them to switch the account to a different radio ID. I have done this for 5 years and they have always helped me out.
here is a link to the raw numbers....

Mines about to expire also but I will be switching to Sirius. The main reason is the full time NASCAR station. Soon XM and Sirius will be the same.

Let it expire and they will send you an invite to come back really cheap. My last offer I received was $79 per year.
